Meet Oso
Once upon a time a cute little puppy was born, and found a wonderful loving home. Resembling a little bear, he was named Oso, and lived a happy life with two wonderful guardians. Then, one Christmas Eve without warning, one of his guardians died. Unable to care for Oso by herself, the remaining guardian returned Oso in January to his current home at our ranch, where he has patiently waited for someone to adopt him and give him a new forever home.
Oso is a wonderful companion, he is housetrained, and crate trained, walks well on a leash and will run by your side. It is guessed that he is a mix of an Afghan hound and a Belgian tervuren. He is tall but so gentle, he loved to have his belly rubbed and to just be with you. He can sit, and lie down on command, and he loves to play fetch with you. You can throw the ball and he will go and get it and come back to you grinning in his own special way, but if you sit down and stop throwing the ball he is happy to come and lay by your side contently.
Oso loves people, but would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. He is fine with dogs on walks, but gets a little jealous with other dogs in the house, so he needs some work on that issue. Oso is a wonderful dog, an absolute sweetheart, but having been with us since January, he is desperately looking for a forever home or even a foster would help him immensely.
Can you give Oso’s story a happy ending?
